We will kick off our event with the CGC evaluation. A pass fail skills test for pet dogs! It is great for a few reasons: find out where you need to focus on your training, a refresher/ retest for a current CGC dog , or a first time test for a dog that recently finished a training class. This is not a competition, rather a goal to set for you and your dog!
This test is FREE on the 13th for all who register before or on site the day of .Registration is from 8:30 to 8:55. Test starts promptly at 9:00. For complete list of skills required go to
WE REQUIRE proof of rabies, a buckle collar and a 6 foot leash, NO Flexi/ retractable leashes.
This test is for dogs who have completed at least a beginning basic skills class or beyond. Upon passing the 10 skills you can send away for a personalized certificate from the AKC proving that your dog is a Canine Good Citizen. We encourage you to participate!
The Pet Promise is the foundation of the RDOD event. It is a list of things we as dog owners promise to do for our pets.
