For over a decade, Pet Wellness Expo has been an opportunity for pet owners to meet pet professionals, product reps,rescue organizations and more. Created by Dr. Sandy Miller DVM of Creature Comforts Veterinary Services,it began as a forum for animal rescues and a place for pet owners to learn about proper care of their pets. Held in Burlington for the past 10 years, this year the Expo has a new coordinator and a new location. The event will be held at Elkhorn Area Highschool on Saturday April 18th. Tracy McHugh of Kaleidoscope event Productions is coordinating. Please visit the website and face book page for detailed information. A variety of vendors and pet related businesses will be exhibiting. Education is what sets this expo apart. Throughout the day a variety of short lectures on different products and services will be offered to attendees. Admission is $5 for the entire event. All proceeds from the ticket sales are being donated to Lakeland Animal Shelter. Attendees can also donate 2 items from Lakelands wish list for free admission.
